Like a wave ricocheting off the past into the future, the psychedelic rock band Black Liquid Drop made the transcendent space between thoughts of the ascetically accessible and holy harmonic dissonance seem just a tripped out dream on a canvas of white noise. These gentlemen, clad to the 9's in white garb, commanded their musical objects in the key of acid, leaving the listener in a comfortable state of euphoric brain message. Their sound is fresh yet familiar, reminiscent of the ancient fuzz of turning psych melodies and their own experimentation's on sonic diversity. Their delivery of chaotic sound layered over a white noise chunch with a slathering of drone synth left the listener to their own journey on a trip to the unknown.
